-1st Inspection: Code Enforcement Officer inspects the property to determine if it violates Village Ordinance.

-Door Hanger Delivered/Letter mailed: If in violation, a door hanger is left at the property at the time of the first inspection and a letter is mailed to the property owner and occupant (in case owner does not live at property) notifying them that they are in violation of Village Ordinance §234-3 F – Noxious Weeds, if they do not mow the property within seven calendar days, the Public Works Department will have the property mowed and the owner will be charged for costs, plus a $75.00 administrative fee.

-2nd Inspection: At the end of seven days, the Code Enforcement Officer re-inspects the property. If it has not been mowed, the Village issues an order to the contractor to cut the property. If the property has been mowed, the Service Request and Inspection will then be closed.
