Residential Street Lights/Traffic Signals

The Village of Pleasant Prairie manages an estimated 544 street lights throughout the Village.  Because some street lights are maintained by WE Energies, the first step is determining who to contact for repair. Village vs WE
  • Village street lights – should have a numbered sticker affixed to the base of the light pole displaying the words Village of Pleasant Prairie.
  • WE Energies street lights - should have a numbered metal tag on the light pole.

Who do I contact if a street light is out?

If a street light is not working, intermittent, or flickering, please notify the Village of Pleasant Prairie or WE Energies. Provide the intersection or the address of the home nearest to the light pole.  If visible on the sticker, the pole number is useful as well.   The more information you provide, the faster we can identify and fix the problem.

Who do I contact if a traffic signal is not working?
